New Joint Accreditation Leadership Summit Report Explores the Future of Education

April 15, 2022

We’re excited to bring you a new report, The Future of Education: Connecting & Collaborating, which captures highlights from the 2021 Joint Accreditation Leadership Summit. Held virtually for the second consecutive year, the Summit brought together more than 190 interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) professionals, representing more than 80 organizations, to explore the evolution of IPCE and new innovative education approaches for the future.

Reports

Throughout the conference, participants joined conversations on strategies to incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in IPCE programming, ways to boost learner engagement, exciting features of the new, improved Joint Accreditation Program and Activity Reporting System (JA-PARS), and case studies on achieving Joint Accreditation with Commendation.

We thank the speakers and participants for contributing their expertise, best practices, and lessons learned to the Summit. Please feel free to download and share this report with your colleagues, leadership, and stakeholders. Previous reports can be found on our website here.

To date, our IPCE community has expanded to include:

  • 10 professions
  • 130+ accredited organizations
  • 57,000+ educational activities each year
  • 23 million interactions with healthcare professionals each year

We greatly appreciate our community of jointly accredited providers for creating education for healthcare teams that drives improvements in team performance and helps to optimize the care, health, and wellness of patients and communities.
