2025 Data Report: A Growing Community Advancing Team-Based Healthcare Education

Joint Accreditation continues to grow in reach, relevance, and impact as jointly accredited providers create education that strengthens teams, improves care, and responds to the evolving needs of patients and communities. The newly released Joint Accreditation Data Report: A Growing Community Advancing Team-Based Healthcare Education – 2025 offers a data-driven look at that progress and the expanding role of interprofessional continuing education.

Based on data submitted by 206 jointly accredited organizations, the report shows sustained momentum across provider participation, educational activity, learner engagement, credit availability, and outcomes measurement. Since 2018, the number of providers has grown from 75 to 206, while educational activities have increased from 29,629 to 126,571. Learner interactions have also more than doubled since 2019, rising from 14.8 million to 35.3 million.

The report also highlights the breadth of the Joint Accreditation community, the diversity of healthcare professions reached, the continued growth of IPCE credit, and the ways providers are measuring changes in competence, performance, patient health, and community outcomes. Together, these insights help tell the story of a community advancing education planned by the healthcare team for the healthcare team.
