FIVE LICENSING BOARDS JOIN DATA COLLABORATION WITH ACCME

Five new licensing boards have joined the ACCME and State Medical Licensing Boards Collaboration:

  • Alaska State Medical Board
  • DC Health
  • Mississippi Board of Medical Licensure
  • New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners
  • Wyoming Board of Medicine

Jointly accredited providers whose learners include physicians can report CME-completion data in JA-PARS about physicians licensed in these five new states, as well as any other state. All state medical licensing boards have access to the CME credit data reported for their licensees, and 11 have designated PARS as their primary source, or actively use PARS, for CME information required for relicensure. This program was created to reduce burdens on accredited providers and physicians while simplifying the audit process for boards.
