SAVE THE DATE: JOINT ACCREDITATION LEADERSHIP SUMMIT SEPT. 30 – OCT 1

The 10th annual Joint Accreditation Leadership Summit™ will be held virtually on Monday, September 30 and Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The goal of this annual summit is to connect jointly accredited providers as leaders of interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) to celebrate achievements and discuss strategies for best practices as we ascend towards collaborative education. Registration will open in the coming weeks.

JOIN OUR SURVEYORS TEAM
Looking for a way to enhance your understanding of Joint Accreditation requirements? Consider becoming a Volunteer Surveyor! We are seeking applicants for our volunteer surveyor pool who will, through their interactions with applicants and accredited providers, help Joint Accreditation fulfill its mission and serve as a link between accredited providers by conducting accreditation interviews. Surveyors help ensure that Joint Accreditation has the information about a provider’s interprofessional CE program that is needed to support the accreditation review and decision-making processes.

Surveyors will have the opportunity to enhance their professional development in interprofessional continuing education while advancing their understanding of accreditation requirements. Eligibility to become and remain a volunteer surveyor is assessed using the following criteria:

  • Independence from ineligible companies
  • Active participation in interprofessional continuing education (IPCE)
  • Adherence to the requirement that prohibits private consulting related to accreditation

Click here for the Surveyor Application. Along with your application, please submit a copy of your CV along with two letters of recommendation from a current Joint Accreditation volunteer and/or a current volunteer or staff member of a Jointly Accredited provider.

REMINDER: USE THE JOINT ACCREDITATION STATEMENT AND MARK

Before participating in an accredited CE activity, learners must be informed that a jointly accredited provider is offering the activity through the Joint Accreditation Provider Mark and Statement in associated materials (e.g., educational content, marketing materials, etc.). Providers may also use the Joint Accreditation Provider Mark for education, identification purposes, and announcements related to an organization’s attainment of Joint Accreditation. For example:

“In support of improving patient care, [Insert name of Joint Accredited Provider] is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.”
