What can we help you find?
Joint Accreditation has released a new Guidance on the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Accredited Continuing Education (CE) to support providers as they integrate emerging AI tools into the planning, delivery, and evaluation of education. The guidance highlights AI’s potential to enhance educational design and efficiency—while emphasizing the importance of safeguarding content integrity, learner trust, and confidentiality. We encourage accredited providers to review the guidance and share it with CE teams, faculty, and institutional leaders as they develop or refine their own AI policies and practices.

Joint Accreditation and the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR) are pleased to announce that jointly accredited CE providers are now welcome to register CE activities that meet ABPMR Continuing Certification (CC) requirements for physicians and to submit learner completion data in the JA-Program and Activity Reporting System (JA-PARS). Activities with a start date of on or after January 1, 2025, are eligible.
One-hour training webinars will be conducted in January for accredited providers to learn to report CE that counts for ABPMR CC requirements. Watch this Events page for dates and times and to register.
Physicians can browse activities registered for ABPMR CC in CME Passport, a publicly available, online CE search tool that offers a one-stop resource for physicians seeking to earn CC by participating in accredited CE. The list will display CE activities registered for ABPMR certification.
Visit the JA-PARS Help Center for more information.
You can report CME and Maintenance of Certification/Continuous Certification (MOC/CC) data for your physician learners in JA-PARS. That information will be made available to all U.S. licensing boards and collaborating certifying boards (full list below).
As we near the end of 2025, please note that all certifying boards have year-end reporting requirements for their physicians. To best support your physician learners, please enter their CME for MOC completion data for 2025 in JA-PARS by the deadlines listed below, and remember, JA-PARS is always open! We encourage you to report learner data into JA-PARS on an ongoing basis as physicians complete activities, preferably within 30 days of the learner completing the activity and evaluation.
Learner completion data should be submitted to JA-PARS by December 31, 2025, for the following certifying boards:
For questions about submitting learner data in JA-PARS, check out this tutorial. Explore additional technical details on submitting learner data in JA-PARS using batch upload processes or web services here.
