CELEBRATING OUR CE PROFESSIONALS

Mark your calendars! Healthcare Continuing Education Professionals DayTM will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026, celebrating the professionals who ensure that healthcare professionals stay informed, competent, and capable of delivering the best possible care.

Now’s the time to start planning your celebrations — whether by hosting an awards ceremony, organizing a team lunch, offering a professional development workshop, or launching a social media campaign to spotlight your CE team’s impact.

Healthcare Continuing Education Professionals Day™ was established through the collaboration of ACCME, ACPE, ACEHP, ANCC, AHME, Joint Accreditation, and SACME.

2026 Joint Accreditation Leadership Summit

The 12th annual Joint Accreditation Leadership SummitTM will be held in person only on Tuesday, May 5 in collaboration with Learn to Thrive 2026, taking place May 6 – 8 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The goal of this annual summit is to bring together jointly accredited providers as leaders of interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) to celebrate our achievements and discuss strategies and best practices on our shared mission of excellence in education by the team for the team.

The Leadership Summit is for organizations that are currently jointly accredited or who have an approved pre-application and are in the process of applying for Joint Accreditation.

ANCC to Host Professional Development and Practice Summit

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) will conduct its 2026 Professional Development and Practice (PDP) Summit April 14–17, in vibrant Orlando, Florida! This premier event brings together leaders and innovators in nursing professional development (NPD) and interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) and to explore best practices, cutting-edge strategies, and impactful programs. Dive into sessions on Transition to Practice and Fellowship Programs and gain insights from jointly accredited and ANCC Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD)-accredited providers showcasing successful NPD initiatives. REMINDERS


WINTER PROVIDER UPDATE WEBINAR DECEMBER 8, 2026

Jointly accredited providers: Join us for the Joint Accreditation Provider Update Webinar on Monday, December 8, from 1:00 – 2:30 pm CST. During this annual webinar, we will share Joint Accreditation updates, review important information about accreditation expectations, and continue to build our interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) community of practice.

Invitations to register have been sent to primary contacts of jointly accredited providers.  Upon registering, you will be provided with a unique join link to join the live session on December 8.

 

MOC LEARNER-COMPLETION DEADLINES

You can report CME and Maintenance of Certification/Continuous Certification (MOC/CC) data for your physician learners in JA-PARS. That information will be made available to all U.S. licensing boards and collaborating certifying boards (full list below).

As we near the end of 2025, please note that all certifying boards have year-end reporting requirements for their physicians. To best support your physician learners, please enter their CME for MOC completion data for 2025 in JA-PARS by the deadlines listed below, and remember, JA-PARS is always open!  We encourage you to report learner data into JA-PARS on an ongoing basis as physicians complete activities, preferably within 30 days of the learner completing the activity and evaluation.

  • Learner completion data should be submitted to JA-PARS by December 1, 2025, for the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
  • Learner completion data should be submitted to JA-PARS by December 31, 2025, for the following certifying boards:
    • American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
    • American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
    • American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS)
    • American Board of Pathology (ABPath)
    • American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS)
    • American Board of Surgery (ABS)
    • American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS)

2026 ANNUAL ACCREDITATION FEES

Payment of the 2026 Annual Accreditation Fee and additional health professions credit is due February 2, 2026. Invoices and payment instructions will be sent via email by November 21. Electronic payments are strongly encouraged. Please include your invoice number with your payment. Learn more about the fees here. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions. CHECK THE GUIDANCE FOR PROFESSION-SPECIFIC CREDITS

Several Associate Member organizations have recently updated their guidance for awarding credit to learners — most recently, the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Jointly accredited providers are encouraged to review the Guidance for Profession-Specific Credits for the latest information and links to each participating organization’s current requirements.

 

JOIN OUR COMMUNITY OF SURVEYORS

Joint Accreditation is seeking experienced CE professionals from jointly accredited organizations to serve as volunteer surveyors. Surveyors enhance their personal and professional development and advance their understanding of the accreditation requirements, while helping Joint Accreditation fulfill its mission and serving as a link between Joint Accreditation and the accredited providers.
