What can we help you find?
Three years ago, Joint Accreditation implemented a tiered fee structure for annual accreditation fees to distribute the responsibility for sustaining our accredited continuing education system more fairly among programs of different sizes. We kept those tier-based fees unchanged in 2022. As we shared last year, the 2023 fees are increasing out of necessity to maintain the services we provide in an environment of rising costs and a changing healthcare environment.
These fees support Joint Accreditation’s mission to advance quality healthcare education by the team, for the team. We strive to create an accreditation framework that both supports innovation and evolution in accredited education while preserving the quality, integrity, and independence of interprofessional CE.
As you may remember, there are four tiers, from Tier 1, comprising the smallest programs, to Tier 4, comprising the largest programs. Program size is based on the average number of activities or learners, whichever is greater. We used data that providers entered into JA-PARS, and attested to, for 2018-2020 to assign tiers for the annual accreditation fees.
The tiered structure applies only to annual accreditation fees. Fees for other accreditation services (extensions and progress reports) will continue to be assessed on a flat fee basis.
You will receive an invoice within the next few weeks for your annual accreditation fee, including any additional professions you may have selected. Payment will be due by January 31, 2023.
The fee schedule is shown below.
